Amanda is the web designer, architect and front-end developer for Tilt Shift Digital.

She started down the web designer path almost 20 years ago when, by chance, she came across some tutorials on how to create a web page (HTML Goodies still exists today!) and was immediately hooked. While studying studio art and philosophy in undergrad, Amanda continued learning and creating websites as a hobby and, upon graduating, decided to pursue it full time.

Amanda has always enjoyed creativity, art and design but her biggest passion has always been user experience. Her attention to detail and focus on clean, user-friendly design and code has been the backbone of her work. Whether it’s creating wireframes, designing a homepage or writing intricate CSS—cause and effect are always on her mind.

Though she grew up in Syracuse, New York, Amanda spent several years in Boston getting experience in both small and large web firms and working with clients in a range of industries. Eventually she got married and moved back to New York, where she settled in the Hudson Valley.

Amanda has always had a love for science fiction, video games and quality time with family and friends – especially with her three year old daughter, Evie, and fellow web designer husband, Julian.
